Disparar una fotografía

Cuando suenan las cortinillas de la cámara fotográfica ha ocurrido algo irrepetible. El paisaje, el objeto fotografiado, ha vivido un instante de comunión con el fotógrafo que permanecía asomado al visor. Esa forma de energía que conocemos como luz ha viajado hasta el material sensible de la cámara y ha sido absorbida y convertida en información imperecedera. El tiempo se ha detenido completamente por una vez. Lo que el fotógrafo vio a través del visor, ese aquel entonces, forma ahora parte del recuerdo de todos. Ahí comienza la magia de la fotografía.

When the curtains of the camera sound, something unrepeatable has happened. The landscape, the photographed object, has lived an instant of communion with the photographer who remained leaning on the viewfinder. That form of energy that we know as light has traveled to the sensitive material of the camera and has been absorbed and converted into imperishable information. The time has stopped completely for once. What the photographer saw through the viewfinder, that then, is now part of everyone's memory. There begins the magic of photography.
